Sandeep Kumar, happy to return to national formula racing after an year in Europe

Chennai, 29th May: Sandeep Kumar, who raced in the German Scirocco R Cup in 2013 is happy to return to racing in India this year and will be participating in both JK Formula India Series & LGB F4 Series.

The 21year old Chennai lad was the 2012 VW Polo R Cup India Champion and graduated to the German Scirocco Cup in 2013 for his first year racing abroad. Sandeep returns to single seater formula category with the BMW engined JK India Series and the LGB F4 Series in the 2014 JK Racing Championship after couple of years in tin top racing with Volkswagen. Sandeep has previously raced the Formula BMW as a guest driver in the JK Asia Series 2011 at the Indian GP in Noida and has also raced in the Formula LGB Swift category in 2011.

The 2014 JK Racing Championship kicks off this weekend in Coimbatore at the Kari Motor speedway and Sandeep is excited to race again in India in a championship where the competition is fierce with a level playing field.

Sandeep Kumar said "I am feeling really excited to be racing again in India in the JK Racing Championship after an year in Europe. I will be racing in the JKFB02 series and LGB F4 series simultaneously. The opportunity to race in Europe has helped me gain more knowledge and I am really look forward to fight for the championship in a grid containing many champions."
